Chhath Puja 2025 will be celebrated from October 25 to October 28 with deep faith and devotion. This four-day festival is dedicated to Lord Surya (the Sun God) and Chhathi Maiya. The first day, Nahay-Khay, marks the beginning of the ritual, where devotees eat pure and sattvic food. On the second day, Kharna, devotees observe a strict fast and break it after sunset with a special offering of jaggery kheer and chapati. The third day is for Sandhya Arghya, when devotees offer water to the setting sun, and the final day is Usha Arghya, where offerings are made to the rising sun. The festival symbolizes purity, discipline, and gratitude towards nature and the Sun God.
